HW Design Inc. In San Diego At The Red Bull Air Race World Championships And Red Carpet

The HW Design Inc. Photography team was in San Diego this weekend, to experience the Red Bull Air Race World Championships.  HW covered the races at San Diego Bay and then rushed over to the Hard Rock Hotel for the lively Red Carpet and party, hosted by Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian (you can read an article we did on Kardashian here).

This was the second stop of the six-race 2009 World Series.  These amazing propeller airplanes, competed on a slalom course, set up in the middle of San Diego Bay, between Embarcadero Marina Park and Coronado.  Giant “air gates,” or pylons were set up for the 12 pilots to maneuver through.  The planes reach intense speeds of up to 400 km per hour.  The planes take off from the active Naval Air Station, North Island on Coronado Island.  50,000 fans were expected over the two-day racing championships.

Red Bull put on an amazing party, later in the evening at Float, at the Hard Rock Hotel.  Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian were a hot looking couple as they hosted the event.  X Games champion snowboarder Shaun White was also on hand, as was Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson and a large group of Red Bull Olympians and Xtreme Sports stars.
